About Living Streets campaign group

Living strreets is a nationwide organisation, founded in 1929 as the Pedestrians’ Association and became known as the Pedestrians’ Association for Road Safety in 1952. The current name was adopted in 2001. As well as its research and campaigning for far safet and more convenient active travel at the national level, it comprises numerous local groups campaigning for improvement within their own local town, neighbourhood or city.

  1. Tyburn road and Wheelwright road has failed to protect pedestrians especially the most vulnerable. The heirachy on these roads is HGV vans lorries cars pedestrian. Our children not only suffer from effects of pollution but road safety. To see pics see fixmystreet along with photos typing in postcode b24EH and look at surrounding roads. Process policy does not work in these areas that are to poor or to black the businesses do as they please supported by the council and highways.We have had children knocked down at crossings neighbours knocked down.
